Guiding Questions

Junior

1. What does arranged in rows of 5  or 9 mean? How do you model it using a simple drawing?

2. What does arranged in rows of 5, gives a remainder of 4 mean? Model it using drawing. (Apply similar model for rows of 9, remainder 3)

3. Read the question and find out what is the relation between the two rules. Find out what number of shells can satisfy both the rules, using model drawing or numbers. 

Senior

1. List all the possible 2-digit numbers divisible by 4, and those divisible by 3. 

2. Apply the digits rule mentioned  and find all the possible combinations systematically.
